I had b-ball practice on Wednesday and my last game was on Saturday. I also helped my dad with our basement, we're redoing it.
We are doing a #bookitforward and I have decided to do it on wonder by R.J Palacio. it changed my view on many things like friendship and bullying. I saw that summer risked her friends to be friends with august and thought that I should do that to. It also changed my view on bullying and how people feel.
This is my persuasive article:
Griffin Gade 12-15-14 Kids Having Jobs Should young kids have a job? Yes, I think so. It teaches responsibility, it will also help kids support their family, and finally, it will help kids learn. First of all, a job will teach responsibility. Kids will learn to save their money and to not go spend it on something cool they want they will learn that they are much cooler things. They can also use their money to help their parents like getting the groceries. They will manage their time so they can get each day’s task. Jobs teach responsibility. Kids can also help support their family. If they have disabled or sick parents they will be able to help them. If they have a poor family they can help by buying food and clothing. even if a family is doing okay in life, they will be able to afford extra stuff like vacations, better clothing, and electronic devices. with jobs kids can help support their family better. A job will help kids learn too. If they are an accountant or cashier they will be better at math because they will be working with numbers a lot. Scientists have actually said that kids have better grades with a job. They can also learn social skills by talking with customers and they will get a taste of real life. Kids will learn a ton more with a job. Jobs will teach responsibility, help support family, and will help learn. I think kids should have jobs for those reasons. i got info from this website: http://life.familyeducation.com/teen/jobs-and-chores/36446.html In these last few days We made crystals from borax and Dr. Adam came and made shrinky-dinks with us. The borax crystals are not real minerals because they are man made.
